Custom Engagement Ring Process
How long does it take to make a custom ring?
Most projects take anywhere between 4-6 weeks to complete from your first appointment.
How much does a custom ring cost?
We always aim work within your budget. A custom setting (not including the center stone) is typically in the $1,500 - $5,000 range.
How do I know I'll like my finished ring?
Along the way we'll show you samples, computer generated renderings, and even a to-scale resin model of your ring. We don't like surprises!
Can I use my own diamond?
Of course! We do charge an extra setting fee of $100 per carat if the stone is not bought from us.
Can I return my custom made ring?
Due to the unique and personal customization of your ring, all custom engagement ring orders are final sale.
Returns questions
What is your return & exchange policy?
We want you to love what you wear! For all non-custom jewelry items, you may return or exchange within 10 days of delivery to you. To issue your return or exchange please visit our Returns + Exchanges page here.
How do exchanges work?
After we've received your unwanted non-custom jewelry item(s), within the allotted 10-day window, we will be in contact to issue the exchange for your new piece(s). Any remaining balances will be refunded back to you on your original form of payment.
Production
Where are your products made?
Our metal castings are done by the top casters in America. Finishing, and stone-setting is all done by our trusted in-house jeweler.
What materials do you use?
We use recycled gold and platinum in all of our custom pieces and our production line. Our gemstones are sourced from trusted vendors who ethically source their stones.
Jewelry Care
How should I care for my engagement ring?
Always: clean your ring weekly. Be sure to have your ring checked every 3-6 months to ensure no loose diamonds or broken prongs. Store your ring in the same safe spot every day.
Never: wear your ring to bed, shower with your ring on, swim with your ring on, or wear your ring to the gym.
How should I care for my fine jewelry?
Protect your investments by never wearing your jewelry to bed, while you shower, in the pool, or while you workout.
Most jewelry can be cleaned by soaking in warm water with gentle soap for 5-10 minutes and brushed gently with a soft toothbrush. If you're unsure please contact us on best practices to clean your piece!
Never soak opals, emeralds, pearls, turquoise, rubies, coral and other porous gemstones.
Get prongs checked regularly.
Always store your fine jewelry pieces in the same safe spot every day.
